Now, I've been trying to figure out the Prestige system of this game. I did some tests here with a lumber mill and as far as I've noticed, this happens for all resource-producing buildings.

Test, before building.

Now, we'll build a lumber mill

Note the change of 1 prestige for a level 1 building

So, the prestige formula for a resource producing building is...
Xb=Xp (where Xb=Building level, Xp=Amount of prestige)

Another example, don't pay attention to the pres on this one from the last, another building in another city had finished.

And time for lvl. 3

So, for a level 3 building, I gained 3 prestige. Meaning, it is not the amount of resources produced by that building that changes prestige, rather the level of the building. For a fully upgraded building(lvl 10), you will have gained only 55 prestige(1+2+3+4+5+6+7+8+9+10=55). Kind of a bummer, huh?

I'm working on other prestige ratios, if you feel that I have gotten something wrong, tell me and I will revise.

So the prestige for upgrading a farm to level 10 would be all the prestige gained from upgrading it from 1-9 with the addition of 10?

No. Every level of upgrade is the level in prestige. So, If you wanted just 6 prestige and have a level 5 building, then upgrading it to level 6 would grant you 6 prestige. Or, you could build a new one to level 3. (1+2+3=6). So, upgrading to level 10 would give you 10 prestige.

I believe I just figured something else out as well, I just upgraded a farm from level 5 to 6. I gained 7 prestige. Why? I also took note of my labour force. Before, it was 3340. Now, exactly 3400. In theory, for every 100 people you have working, you gain another prestige point.

not enteirly correct, some building yields more prestige per level than 1 or 2 for example barracks give more prestige on some levels town hall walls etc aswell.
